About Alameda Municipal Power
Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is a department of the City of Alameda that has served residents and businesses for 134 years. AMP provides 100% clean energy to more than 34,000 customers at rates that average 26% below neighboring communities.
Established in 1982, Energy Federation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Massachusetts working to accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient products, largely through initiatives done in conjunction with natural gas and electric companies throughout North America. EFI is the administrator of the AMP Marketplace and a contractor of Alameda Municipal Power.
